Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Document Translator to join our growing team. As a Document Translator at ANA Lokalize LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate translations for a variety of documents. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission of fostering effective communication across languages and cultures.
Responsibilities:
- Translate a wide range of documents, including but not limited to legal, technical, marketing, and general business materials.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance of translations.
- Collaborate with project managers, editors, and other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Conduct research to understand industry-specific terminology and stay updated on relevant language trends.
- Utilize translation memory tools and other technology to enhance efficiency and maintain consistency across projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to address any questions or concerns related to translations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Document Translator, with a strong portfolio of successful translation projects.
- Fluency in Pohnpeian and proficiency in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances in both source and target languages.
- Familiarity with translation memory tools and other language technology is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
